ohnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Geoffrey Rush star in this Disney swashbuckler based on the theme-park's rides. When Elizabeth (Keira Knightley), the daughter of Governor Swann (Jonathan Pryce), is kidnapped by Captain Barbarossa (Geoffrey Rush) and his band of pirates, love-lorn Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) goes to her rescue. However, he needs help to get on board the pirates' ship, The Black Pearl, and enlists ship captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp). But they are up against more than just sword-swinging pirates; the crew of the Black Pearl are cursed to spend their time between the living and the dead and only the blood of Elizabeth can break the curse. Will and Sparrow have therefore to overcome the undeadly crew and rescue the governor's daughter and this culminates in a special-effects-laden sword fight between Sparrow and Barbarossa.
Fred Cavaye directs this French action thriller following a man as he races through the streets of Paris to save his pregnant wife after she is kidnapped. Life is going well for young couple Samuel (Gilles Lellouche) and Nadia (Elena Anaya). He is about to qualify as a nurse, and she is about to give birth to their first child. But their world is turned upside down in an instant when Samuel inadvertently becomes embroiled in the schemes of a criminal gang that will stop at nothing to achieve its goal.

The film traces the events surrounding the real-life abduction of 30 gendarmes by local Kanak separatist rebels in France's South Pacific territory of New Caledonia in 1988. Sent to accelerate the release of the hostages, negotiator Capt. Philippe Legorjus (Kassovitz) soon finds himself caught between the demands of Kanak leader Alphonse Dianou (Iabe Lapacas) and the machinations of his political masters back in France, who, with an election looming, are eager to show their decisiveness by resorting to military action.
Laurent Tirard co-writes and directs this French family comedy based on the 1950s comics by René Goscinny. Eight-year-old Nicolas (Maxime Godart) has a perfect set-up, with loving parents, good friendships and a happy school life. His idyllic existence soon changes, however, when he misinterprets a conversation that he overhears between his parents (Valérie Lemercier and Kad Merad), leading him to believe that his mother is pregnant. With his imagination running wild, he soon jumps to the conclusion that his parents will be too wrapped up with their new arrival to spare any time for him, and quickly sets about planning how to keep things just the way they are.
